Before he became a sports anchor for FOX 8 in 1997, Rizzo was a fixture for Cleveland sports fans on WMJI radio from 1987-96. He was also featured on FOX 8’s SUNDAY SPORTS PAGE show from 1994-96.
Rizzo received an Emmy Award in 1996 for his “Riz on the Road” segments seen on SUNDAY SPORTS PAGE.
Tony is very active in the community, regularly contributing to Our Lady of the Wayside and The Epilepsy Foundation, to name a few.
Rizzo, was born in Cleveland, attended Midpark High School and Ohio University. He and his family live here in Northeast Ohio. He enjoys golf and coaching sports teams.
