The book is called "Patti Labelle:Recipes For The Good Life". The copyright is 2008,so it's her newest and available in hardcover.
The recipe on page 66 works great, 'Spicy Southern-Fried Turkey Wings."
David Moss says, it's a good idea to ask the person at the meat counter to cut the wings in segments for you. Patti discards the tips and uses the first 2 joints.
One of the really cool things she does is give you the recipe for her 'Miss Patti's Spice Blend.' It's a dry rub that works on just about anything.
Patti also suggests you use her hot flash sauce . You can probably get away with your hot sauce of choice.
