To make this salad, I followed her instructions. That meant to put everything and anything you like in the salad.

She also maintained that if you put enough colorful ingredients in the salad, you would not need dressing. I still used a small amount of oil and vinegar (but use any dressing you like).

Here are some suggestions:
red leaf lettuce
romaine
baby spinach
ice berg lettuce

First I rough chopped the lettuce, put it in a large salad bowl, then added a little dressing. I think the dressing helps the rest of the ingredients stick.

Then I added:
5 radishes sliced paper thin
5 broccoli florets chopped
1 carrot shredded
1 stalk celery chopped fine
1 handful blueberries
1 mango chopped
6 pecans chopped
6 almonds chopped
1 tbs sunflower seeds
a little salt and pepper
Toss and serve
