Pizza dough/or preformed in foil pan 1/2 lb ground meat browned* 1 large onion sliced and grilled* 3/4 c. Mozzarella cheese shredded 1/4 cup cheddar finely shredded 1 medium tomato sliced thin 1/2 c. Tomato sauce

Preheat oven to 450-500 f

Form dough in pizza pan. Sometimes it helps if you use a little shortening on the pan. Spread the tomato sauce on the dough first. Make sure it's a thin layer or the pizza could be soggy. You dont have to use all the sauce. Spread half the meat over the pizza. Spread grilled onions over meat. Cover onions with remaining meat. Cover with mozzarella. Spread cheddar over mozzarella.

Bake for 15- 20 minutes or til nicely browned. If you have a pizza stone, slip pizza out of pan during the last 5 minutes of cooking and bake directly on stone. When you finish baking out of pan,you get crispier crust.

Remove from oven and top with tomato slices. If you want to cook the tomatoes a little, add during last 5 minutes.

* when browning the meat, add a little salt and pepper along with a pinch of onion and garlic powder. Make sure you drain liquid off browned meat. The meat does not have to be warm when you top pizza.

*melt a tbs of butter(or use olive oil) In a large fry pan. Add onions and cook over medium heat til onions soften and start to carmelize.(A light brown color on the edges). you can add 1/2 tsp of balsamic vinegar near the end to help sweeten and darken the onions.

Enjoy!
