A credit union is a member owned not-for-profit financial institution that provides members with a place to save money, get reasonable rates on loans, and receive a level of service not available at other financial institutions. They serve groups with a common feature, such as employee groups, geographical communities or religious backgrounds. Credit unions operate under the philosophy "not for profit, not for charity, but for service" and cooperate with each other instead of competing with each other.

Through this collaborative spirit, credit unions can serve their members most effectively and strengthen the movement by working together through local, state, regional, national and international structures. It is under this principle that the concept of shared branching was born. CLICK HERE: Visit the CU Service Centers Web Site

(i.e. state driver’s license, US passport)

*May not be available at all outlets and locations

Shared branching is a network of credit unions acting cooperatively to bring you more locations, more conveniently. Shared Branching is designed to make access to your credit union more convenient.

With Shared branching, you have the ability to visit any of the credit union branches within the shared branching network to conduct "guest member" transactions with accounts in your own credit union.

Sound impossible? Shared branching has enabled credit unions to link so that when you conduct a "guest member" transaction at a shared branching credit union, it registers with your credit union.
