CINCINNATI (AP) — A prosecutor says a woman has lost her eye after her ex-boyfriend threw a cocktail glass at her face in a Cincinnati nightclub.
Hamilton County Municipal Judge Julia Stautberg on Friday set a $250,000 bond for 27-year-old Mark Teremi of Erlanger, Ky. He's charged with felonious assault for the alleged altercation at Bootsy's.
Stautberg also granted a request for a protection order made by the woman's father.
Teremi's lawyer Roger Kirk says his client denies the allegations.
Cincinnati police say the glass injured the woman's right eye, right eyelid and the bridge of her nose.
Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor Ted Kiser says the woman lost her eye and has been the victim of a previous menacing and stalking.
