The parents of an 8-year-old boy who died of cancer are charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors say Monica Hussing and William Robinson, refused to take their son, Willie, to the doctor, even though he begged them to.
Willie's aunt Shelia Slawinski says she also begged her sister to take Willie to a doctor.
"As soon as I saw him, I called him Casper," said Slawinski.
"He was that frail looking and that sick. He was as white as a sheet of paper, blue circles around his eyes. He had lost a lot of weight."
Slawinski says she called Children and Family Services, but Willie still never got medical care.
Willie passed out at his home on March 22, 2008.
He died at MetroHealth Medical Center less than an hour later, without ever seeing a doctor.
The Cuyahoga County Coroner determined Willie died of a treatable form of Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Willie's parents are scheduled for arraignment on March 25 and could face up to 39 years behind bars.
