CLEVELAND - As Cleveland restaurant owners push for people to come downtown for dinner during "restaurant week", some fear Sunday morning's shooting could have a negative effect on downtown businesses.

Restaurant Week lasts through Sunday, featuring 40 restaurants in downtown Cleveland, offering three course dinners for two for just $30.00. But some people say Sunday's shooting will keep them away from downtown on nights and weekends.

"I wouldn't come downtown here at night or on the weekends," said Cynthia Green.

That's the fear of Executive Chef's, like J.R. Grady of Fat Fish Blue Restaurant. Grady says downtown should not suffer because of Sunday's heartbreaking shooting. "I leave this restaurant at two, three in the morning, four in the morning, and I have to walk through the streets of downtown and I've never been approached by anybody," said Grady.

Ward 13 City Councilman Joe Cimperman agrees. "We have made strides downtown," said Cimperman. "It doesn't matter when it comes to this because you've got two families that are forever going to be impacted and our hearts go out to them."

Cleveland Police are still investigating the fatal shooting.
