PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio -
A brand-new fully furnished home on the lake, valued at more than $400,000 can be yours for just $12!
This year's Lake County YMCA Dream House has been unveiled. Tickets are now on sale.
The 3,400 square foot home is located on Villa Grande Drive in Painesville Township. With spectacular views of Lake Erie, the home has four bedrooms, three full baths and two half-baths.
Lead designer Diana Hudson Kresyne said, "We're at the Water's Edge so that's the theme of our house. This year all the colors we used are very soft and sophisticated. We wanted it have a Hampton's, Martha's Vineyard feel to it."
The master suite leads to a wrap-around balcony. The master bathroom has "his and hers" sinks, a jacuzzi tub and a large walk-in closet in the hallway.
Because the home is right by the lake, designers wanted to include something different. "I think one of the unique feature this year is the crow's nest, which is a third story watch tower," said Kresyne.
Tickets can be purchased by phone, online or at the home in Painesville Township. Tours start Friday. They run from 12-8 every day until August 15th. All proceeds from ticket sales will go the Lake County YMCA branches.
