Extreme Dieting: Eat Worms, Lose Weight, Risk Death
While some are cutting carbs, calories and fat, others choose to add worms to their diet.

According to the U.K's Daily Telegraph, products sold online contain the eggs of parasitic Ascaris worms.

Once inside the body, the worms can grow up to 15 inches and feed off of your body, allegedly causing you to lose weight.

Medical experts warn this is a risky, and potentially deadly, way to shed pounds.

The parasites can cause abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and malnutrition.

The worms also lay up to 200,000 eggs a day and have the ability to invade vital organs, like the lungs.

It's no surprise the products are illegal in the United States.
