NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- When you approach Santa's sleigh around Northeast Ohio this year, you'll see plenty of disinfectants.

Santa at Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted, makes sure his elves use plenty of wet wipes and disinfectants throughout the day.

Doctors say the H1N1 virus can live on surfaces for about three hours, but most parents say, they're not worried.

"I mean I think no matter what they're going to get sick regardless of where they're at, whether it be in a store or anything like that," said one parent.

Santa and his helpers also wash his gloves and clothes on a regular basis.

Sick children are also urged to come back and sit on Santa's lap another time if they're feeling ill.
