Officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Warren Post say they now know what caused a car crash that killed one teen and injured two others.
They say the girls were huffing while driving. Christie Manchester, 17-years old, of Champion in Trumbull County, died on August 3rd, after she crashed her car into a tree.
Her two friends were injured.
Troopers now say Manchester and her two friends were huffing from a can of air duster while driving.
In the accident report, one of the passengers told troopers that after Christie took several huffs from the can, her face went blank and her body stiffened around the steering wheel.
That's when the car crashed into the tree.
Manchester died at the scene.
Her two friends were injured.
"I liken it to a chemical russian roulette because you never know when it's going to take your life," said Lt. Joe Dragovish of the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Warren Post.
The Trumbull County Coroner says toxicology reports will show if the huffing contributed to Manchester's death.
