AKRON - The Summit County Sheriff's Office confirms to Fox 8 News that they are investigating an accident involving two Massillon school buses that happened Saturday night, in Akron.

According to authorities, the buses collided with each other following the Massillon football game Saturday night.

Police say the buses were transporting members of the Massillon Tiger Swing Band when the collision happened on Interstate 77 southbound.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office says that one of the buses rearended the other, causing substantial front-end damage.
