CLEVELAND -
A spokesperson for the Cleveland Metroparks tells Fox 8 News that two women suspected of breaking into vehicles at the Rocky River Reservation were videotaped by surveillance cameras as they attempted to reap the benefits of their alleged illegal activity.
Metroparks Public Information Specialist Dianna M. Kall says one of the suspects in question acquired stolen credit cards in two separate vehicle break-ins that occurred between August and October. That woman then proceeded to use the stolen cards to purchase high-end electronic items and cigarettes totaling approximately $2,000 from businesses located across Cleveland's west-side suburbs.
That same woman is also suspected of breaking into vehicles in the Medina County area.
The second suspect went to two different Cleveland-area Fifth Third Bank locations to try to cash a paycheck that she acquired during a vehicle break-in at the Rocky River Reservation on Oct. 16. She is approximately 35 years of age and weighs between 150 and 200 pounds.
If you have any information regarding either suspect, you are encouraged to contact Cleveland Metroparks Ranger Department at (440) 331-5126.
