BARBERTON-- The dismembered body of a dog was discovered on the side of Hudson Run Road in Barberton last week.
Police say they they got to the scene, they found two plastic garbage bags, one containing the the dog's torso and hind legs, the other containing the front legs.
The dog's body had been completely skinned and the head was missing.
Investigators say it appeared the dog had been killed, dismembered and skinned just hours earlier.
The person responsible could face animal cruelty charges.
