Experts warn tight jeans might cause a nerve problem called meralgia paresthetica. When paired with high stilettos, doctors say skinny jeans put too much pressure on the nerve that runs through the thigh. As a result, women are reporting tingling and burning feelings running through their legs. The affliction has been named the "tingling thigh syndrome." A woman who suffered from the syndrome said, "It felt really strange - it felt like my leg had gone to sleep."
Doctors say the condition is not new and has largely been reported in construction workers, pregnant women and obese people; even young, fit women do suffer it sometimes.
