BEREA, Ohio -
Fox 8 sports anchor Tony Rizzo reports that Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Brady Quinn will miss the team's final two games with a foot injury.
Coach Eric Mangini said that Quinn sustained an injury to his right foot on a bootleg run during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 41-34 win at Kansas City. Mangini did not specify Quinn's injury but said his recovery could "take a little while." He did not indicate if surgery was possible.
The Browns have placed Quinn on the National Football League's injured reserve (IR) list. Once a player goes on IR, his season is automatically over.
The move ends an uneven third season for the former Notre Dame star. Quinn began the season as Cleveland's starter but was benched after 10 quarters. He was reinserted as starter on Nov. 16 against Baltimore. Quinn went 2-7 in nine starts.
Former Pro Bowl QB Derek Anderson will start Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
