AKRON, Ohio -- A Summit County woman is accused of biting another woman's finger after a big brawl at a local bar.

Akron police say last weekend, a huge fight broke out at the Bank Lounge on Kenmore Boulevard. The fight spilled out onto the street.

Billie Henry says her son was outside of the bar, lying on the ground being kicked in the head. Henry says she jumped in the middle of the melee to protect her son when a woman lunged at her.

"As I'm running towards him, I see out of the corner of my eye, this woman who was being restrained."

Henry said she raised her arm and the woman bit off the tip of her index finger.

Doctors were not able to reattach the finger tip because it could not be located. "I will never have a nail, it will never grow back."

Henry told Fox 8 News she did not know the woman who brutally attacked her.

But on Thursday, 27-year-old Dawn Snyder, of Tallmadge, had her day in court. Snyder was arraigned on aggravated assault charges.

Henry says the incident was so animalistic, it is hard to picture someone doing it.

"I couldn't imagine a human being doing something like that. She was like a tiger."

Snyder plead guilty to disorderly conduct. She is scheduled to be back in court on March 26.
