The woman we'll call "Mary", admits she became one of a number of female friends of the 29-year-old man.
"I Didn't learn much until about six months after I had met him, and I realized that there were quite a few that he was talking to on the internet site, and there were quite a few vulgar comments that were left on his page, so I assumed that he was having them," she says.
According to Mary, she met Weaver on an online chat site, he accessed through his cell phone.
She says Weaver had two separate accounts, calling himself "Amish Guy", and "Amish Stud."
Another shocking claim is that Weaver complained bitterly about his marriage and the Amish lifestyle.
When church elders learned about one of Weaver's previous alleged affairs and his continued use of a cell phone, he was shunned by the Amish community, and his own family.
Mary says at one point, Weaver began talking to her about killing his wife.
"Talked about poisoning her, asked if I knew any poisonous plants because he knew them, knew a bunch of them, slipped in the comment, if I ever come down there to run his wife over if I see her in the driveway," she says.
On the day, 30-year-old Barbara Weaver was found shot to death in her home, Mary says she felt she had no choice but to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department and tell investigators what she knew.
"I knew right away he was involved, if he didn't do it, he knew who did," she says.
Easily the most disturbing part of her story, Mary says she received a call just hours after his wife was killed, a call she recorded and gave to authorities.
"First thing out of his mouth was 'my wife's dead', and I said 'what' and he said 'somebody shot my wife' like it was just a normal conversation."
She says she was relieved by news that Weaver was arrested Wednesday on a charge of complicity to commit aggravated murder, and that one of his female friends, 39-year-old Barbara Raber, had confessed to shooting Mrs. Weaver in her bed.
According to the sheriff's department, Mrs. Weaver's body was discovered by one of her five young children.
That part is particularly disturbing to Mary, "I mean I hate seeing that his kids are left without their mom and their dad, but you know if he was involved he needed to pay for it."
Eli Weaver and Barbara Raber were indicted by the grand jury on Friday afternoon.
They were charged with aggravated murder with a gun specification.
They were assigned $1 million bond.
A hearing for Weaver and Raber is set for June 24.
